So heres the update. The background is missing something and I want you to tell me what I can do to improve it. How can I make it pop? Introduce some gradients? Some blurring? Maybe I should change the colour? Let me know.

I think the pic's awesome so far. The fish look great! I think adding a few different tones in the pale blue bubble cloud would give it a bit of depth. Hmmm...I think about it a bit more and see if I can come up with anything else.

i was thinking the same thing with the blue bubbles, making them darker and then using a lighter colours mixed with some gaussian blur to give it that glossed look.
the whole thing lacks some serious tonal depth.
